Folio Marble Honed Slab Extra

Folio in slab form is the same stone as our Folio Marble Honed Finish tiles, so floors, walls and bespoke pieces can all be cut from one marble. It is a bone marble, cream bone, with lighter bone highlights, calcite grey veining and fine gold spider veins running across some of the material. The honed finish gives it a soft, low sheen rather than a polish.

Slabs are held in 2cm and 3cm, and are used for worktops, vanity tops, shower trays, window sills, thresholds, step treads and fireplace surrounds. Our Projects Division handles the templating, fabrication, edge detailing and finishing, and will work with you on how the veining runs across a piece and where the joints fall.

Folio is quarried rather than manufactured, so every slab is different. Tone shifts from one to the next, the grey calcite runs heavier in some than others, and the gold veining appears in some more than others. That movement is what gives Folio its depth, and where a job takes more than one slab we will talk you through how they work together before anything is cut. A finished piece should be judged sealed and installed, not as a raw slab on a rack.

Folio is supplied unsealed and will need sealing to keep it looking its best. It is for internal use.
