Wightwick Collection
William Frend De Morgan's work, seen first-hand at Wightwick Manor in the West Midlands, is the inspiration behind our ceramic wall tile range.
The nineteenth-century potter's rediscovered reactive metallic glazing technique has been recreated here with deft precision, giving each tile an atmospheric depth and shimmer that shifts as the light catches it. It's a technique with a rich craft history behind it, brought back into everyday use rather than left as a museum piece.
That sense of design history and artistic detail suits bathroom walls, splashbacks and feature walls alike, sitting comfortably in both traditional and contemporary settings. Few ranges carry quite so specific a story behind the surface.
