Plank Kitchen Tiles
A kitchen floor takes more daily punishment than almost any other surface in the house, so plank's timber look brings warmth to a room that also has to cope with dropped pans, spilled sauces and constant foot traffic.
Format plays a practical role too, not just a decorative one. Set lengthways down a galley kitchen, the long boards stretch the view toward the far end, easing a run that would otherwise feel boxed in; turned to run across the room instead, the same boards widen a kitchen that's short on floor space.
That same wood-effect surface climbs just as comfortably onto a splashback or breakfast-bar upstand, carrying the floor's warmth up onto the wall and tying a hardworking kitchen together.
