Heritage Restored in Stone

Tucked away on the historic Wimborne St Giles estate, Mill House has a history that stretches back to the 17th century. Once a working mill, later a family home and even a restaurant, it’s a building that’s been gently adapted through the years while keeping its original character at heart.

The latest chapter in its story brings a thoughtful blend of craftsmanship and comfort, with natural stone playing a leading role throughout. Each bathroom has its own personality, defined by a different marble or onyx. Sunset Onyx brings warmth and light to the shower, its amber and cream tones glowing softly in the daylight. Verias Green marble adds richness and depth, paired with Palazzo Oro for contrast and a touch of elegance. Belvedere Granite and Carrara C lend a classic, monochrome feel, while Blue Onyx and Calacatta Vagli offer calmer, softer moments elsewhere in the house.

Downstairs, Weltzner Satino Limestone provides an easy, natural foundation underfoot. Its gentle shades of grey and beige tie the spaces together, complementing the building’s oak details and the warm tones of the walls.

The result is a home that feels layered and lived-in - where every surface tells part of the story, and the timeless beauty of natural stone quietly shines through.
