When @emmahillhome bought her chalet bungalow in the Kent countryside, there was a lot of renovating to do. After tackling the kitchen, living room and bedrooms, the next room on the to-do list was the main bathroom. With a love for neutral interiors, Emma knew that the walls and floor had to feature a nicely natural palette, which paired our Chatham Porcelain Oak for the flooring with our Oasis Ceramic White tiles for the walls.

The space is large enough for a freestanding bath as well as a separate walk-in shower, installed at the tallest point of the roof eaves. These focal points are perfectly complemented by the wood-effect porcelain floor planks and iridescent wall tiles, which are laid in a vertical pattern all around the room, adding a sense of height to the chalet-style sloped ceilings.

Emma cleverly added plenty of niche shelving slots within the half-height walls for towels and toiletries and accented the room with timber and wicker accessories to enhance the natural, organic look. The finished scheme is a beautifully balanced design, mixing practicality with a sense of peace and tranquillity, ideal for unwinding in at the end of a long day.
