After designing her ensuite bathroom using our Fondant Ceramic White tiles for the walls, @emmahillhome had some of the tiles left over. Instead of wasting them, she had the ingenious idea of using them to create a dog bath in her utility room for her four furry friends.
After searching for ideas on Pinterest, Emma took inspiration on the shape but decided to raise it off the floor slightly to make it easier to bathe the dogs without bending over while still being low enough for the dogs to jump out safely.
She made a timber frame, tiled it all around with our ceramic tiles, which are hardwearing and easy to clean, and added sleek matt black taps for a contrasting monochrome look. The end result is a huge success, especially after muddy walks, and with open wooden shelving above for laundry detergent and cleaning products, the newly renovated utility space is the perfect combination of form and function.
