Versailles Marble Noir Honed

Drawing inspiration from the grandeur of French Baroque interiors, Versailles Noir offers a more dramatic interpretation of classic marble. A beautifully deep charcoal marble, it is softened by scattered white veining and delicate tonal movement within its dark ground. The effect is sophisticated rather than stark, giving Noir an atmospheric quality that works equally well in traditional and contemporary interiors. Laid across a floor, its natural variation adds depth and intrigue; used in a chequerboard, it brings a more nuanced alternative to classic black and white.

Suitable for indoor walls and floors, Noir is a particularly elegant choice for creating dramatic, enveloping spaces. For wet room floors and shower trays, additional anti-slip measures are required. Combine with the Versailles collection, or with Elixir and Taj Mahal, for chequerboards and more intricate patterns. Versailles marble requires sealing.

All Versailles marbles are honed to a smooth, dependable finish with a soft, understated sheen that allows the natural character of the stone to take centre stage. Each tile measures 45.7 × 45.7cm, a beautifully considered and wonderfully versatile format: substantial enough to give a floor presence, yet modest enough to sit comfortably within smaller spaces and more intricate patterns – a perfect middle ground.
