CELEBRATING OUR DESIGN AWARD WINNERS
We are thrilled to announce the winners of the Ca’ Pietra Design Awards 2025, shining a spotlight on exceptional projects that showcase the beauty and versatility of Ca’ Pietra materials.
This year the awards were judged by a panel of experts, including Ben Spriggs, Editor-in-Chief at Elle Decoration, Jessica Doyle, Design & Interiors Editor at The Telegraph, and Lewis Malpas, Creative Director at Mr Porter. Together, the judges assessed entries across five core design categories and three special recognition categories.
Grazzie Wilson, Group Brand Director at Ca’ Pietra, says: “The standard of entries this year was incredibly high, with projects that showed a real confidence in material choice and a clear understanding of how tile and stone can shape the character of a space. What stood out most was the variety of approaches, from quietly detailed rooms to bold, expressive schemes, all united by a strong sense of design intent and craftsmanship. I know all the judges had a hard time choosing the final winners!”
A big thank you to everyone who took part and congratulations to all our winners…
BATHROOM DESIGN OF THE YEAR - UP TO 20K WINNER
Jaye Davidson-Hall, JJ Bathrooms
Bathroom Design of the Year (Up to £20k) was one of the most hotly contested categories, with the award going to Jaye Davidson-Hall of JJ Bathrooms. Her space was chosen for it's calm Mediterranean influences, designed as a warm and serene retreat. The scheme is grounded by Marlborough Terracotta Arabesque tiles on the floor, chosen for their handmade texture and earthy tone, while Maroc Porcelain Bianco tiles on the walls add softness with a subtle nod to traditional zellige . Curved detailing, including the shower wall, softens the architecture, while a clean white double stone basin, brushed brass fittings and warm lime washed walls complete a palette that feels soothing, grounded and timeless.
Judge Jessica Doyle, Design and Interiors Editor at The Telegraph, said: “I love the fresh yet warm ambience of this bathroom. It perfectly fits the brief for a Mediterranean style room, and the mix of textures in the terracotta and zellige tiles, the limewashed walls and the brass fittings gives it tactility and depth.” Reflecting on the category, she added: “It really proved how an inventive use of tiling, colour and detail can make a bathroom look inviting and characterful, whatever its size.”

BATHROOM DESIGN OF THE YEAR - OVER 20K WINNER
Jamie Falla, Studio Otto
Bathroom Design of the Year (Over £20k) was awarded to Jamie Falla of Studio Otto for a refined and quietly luxurious bathroom at Val La Give House, where natural stone takes centre stage. Taj Mahal Marble defines the scheme, chosen for its soft, creamy tones and delicate veining, and used extensively across vanity tops and bespoke sinks to create a seamless, cohesive aesthetic.
The design celebrates purity and restraint, allowing the subtle translucence of the marble to interact with natural and ambient light, enhancing its warmth and depth. Honed surfaces, precision cut detailing and a muted palette ensure the stone remains the hero, resulting in a space that feels both contemporary and timeless, and a confident expression of craftsmanship and enduring quality.
KITCHEN DESIGN OF THE YEAR
Jojo Barr, House Nine Design
Kitchen Design of the Year was awarded to Jojo Barr of House Nine Design for a kitchen that balances timeless elegance with lived in warmth. The space is defined by a calm, considered palette and a strong sense of materiality, where Buscot Limestone Tumbled & Etched surfaces, layered textures and thoughtful detailing work together to create a kitchen that feels both refined and welcoming.
Generous proportions are softened through curved architectural elements and tactile finishes, while the interplay of light across stone, timber and cabinetry brings depth and quiet character. The result is a kitchen that feels confident yet relaxed, designed not only to be admired but to be used, gathered around and enjoyed as the heart of the home.
