Traditional Bathroom Tiles

A bathroom is usually the newest-feeling room in a house, refitted more often than anywhere else, which leaves little room for any real sense of age to show. This collection works against that, using a run of metro tiles or a classic Victorian pattern to bring a settled, well-worn character into a space that rarely gets to keep any history of its own.

That character sits in the material rather than on top of it. Stone options here carry a tumbled texture or an antique finish, occasionally with a weathered, unevenly laid surface that shows its own natural variation, while porcelain versions are moulded with that same worn character from the start.

A handful of the porcelain designs are taken directly from an actual antique flagstone, and for anyone wanting the material itself, our wider range keeps flagstone that started life as somebody else's floor, and terracotta pulled from French chateaus and put back into service after a wash. It brings a kind of ageing that normally takes generations, borrowed here for a room that's rarely more than a few years old.
