Stone Effect Floor Tiles

Floors take more punishment than any other surface in a home, which is exactly why stone effect makes sense underfoot: a porcelain body carries the look of quarried marble, onyx or travertine into a hallway, kitchen-diner or open living space, without asking the surface to be anything other than a straightforward, hard-wearing tile.

Underneath the surface, this is photography turned into flooring: natural stone is scanned, the pattern adjusted on screen, then baked into a porcelain body tough enough for constant footfall. Nothing about the finish suggests it started life as a picture rather than a slab. Large formats suit open floor plans particularly well, cutting down on the number of grout lines running across a room.

Two tones laid rectified can form a chequerboard through a hallway or entrance, textures run from smooth and polished to pitted or tumbled underfoot, and our collection extends to mesh-mounted mosaics for borders, thresholds or step edges.
