Outdoor Wall Cladding
Vertical surfaces outdoors get overlooked far more often than they should. A garden wall, a courtyard boundary, the surround of a pool or an outdoor kitchen splashback are all places where a tiled wall works exactly as hard as a tiled floor, just standing up rather than lying flat.
Frost is the deciding factor outside in a way it never is indoors. Porcelain copes with a British winter with the least fuss, natural stone weathers into a character all its own over time provided the right stone is matched to the exposure, and glazed handmade tiles from our range can look wonderful around a kitchen or pool as long as the specific frost rating is checked first.
The best reason to tile an outdoor wall is still continuity. Running the same material through a set of doors, or matching an indoor kitchen splashback to the one just outside it, makes the two spaces feel like a single, planned scheme.
