Hallway Tiles

A home's hallway carries more weight than its size might suggest, setting the tone for every room that follows from it. Our patterned hallway tiles rise to that job especially well, and chequerboard designs remain a favourite for exactly this reason, layering two tones together into a pattern that never really goes out of fashion.

Victorian-style and Edwardian tiles offer a different route to the same effect, bringing colour, pattern and depth into a narrow space that might otherwise feel like a corridor to move through rather than a room in its own right. At the other end of the scale, large-format stone-effect tiles bring a flagstone's warmth underfoot, anchoring a hallway rather than decorating it.

Some hallways lean bold, layering in colour and pattern from the first step through the door. Others favour something more established, a well judged stone-effect floor that settles in over the years and grounds whatever design choices follow through the rest of the home.
