There’s so much excitement here at Ca’ Pietra when we see what projects you’ve come up with for our tiles. As 2020 draws to a close, we take a look at the projects that still catch our eye, every single time we see them.

Decorative floor tiles give bathrooms instant impact and they work particularly well in an otherwise neutral scheme. Our Joya Green porcelain matt design gives this space a Moroccan vibe reminiscent of exotic travels and heady new adventures. We also love how blogger Michaela has taken our Dolly tiles and applied them to the wall in a herringbone effect. It’s a totally different look and feel to the Joya Green yet it works, showing how contrasting colours, materials, patterns and shapes can really bring a room to life.

Pink has been a massive trend lately and it’s a look that’s set to last, as it complements all interiors from classic to contemporary and everything in between. Check out how fabulous our ceramic Bazaar tiles look as a backdrop to this neat concrete basin with brass taps in stylist Emma’s home. The Rose Mallow gloss finish has a handmade look, which gives the tiles a timeless, aged feel – the perfect pairing for our Marlborough terracotta flooring.

For award-winning writer, blogger, creator, presenter and self-confessed interior addict Lisa Dawson, when it came to sprucing up the shower room in her Barn project she took a massive leap outside her colour comfort zone and went for our Colour Pop ceramic tiles in Salmao. The Barn is an annexe that Lisa has revamped into a place for friends and family to stay, a location for work projects and an occasional Airbnb rental too. We agree that the tiles have a huge impact and a powerful retro seventies feel that lifts dark mornings. For the floor, Lisa chose our Piazza Geo Pearl matt porcelain, which is carried through from the entrance hall and has an on-trend terrazzo design for contrast.

We love seeing how you’ve transformed an outdoor space, so we were bowled over when we saw blogger Justin’s spectacular garden makeover featuring our Parisian Café porcelain tiles. Available in Black, Blue, Rosa or Dove Grey, they look amazing with Justin’s own pergola design complete with hanging egg chair. The outdoor table and bench seating finish the space beautifully – a lovely spot for relaxing and planning that next project.
