Creating a cohesive look throughout the home often starts with the floor. When @gem_boner of @paradise_farm_life took on the renovation of a Grade 2 listed Suffolk farmhouse complete with holiday accommodation, she spent time sourcing inspiration and ideas before jumping in. As the previous Content Director for Soho House, Gemma is well-placed to know what’s on trend as well as what makes an enduring classic.

Her inspiration included everything from rustic floors and exposed beans to limewash walls and peachy and terracotta tones, so it was only natural that our Marlborough Terracotta Brick tiles were used for the flooring throughout the downstairs of the Cider Store, the first of Paradise Farm’s accommodations and a stunning three-bed barn nestled behind the willow tree.

The open-plan kitchen-living-dining area is a relaxed space for mealtimes, catching up with family or friends and relaxing after a long day. Terracotta is perfect for enhancing a characterful property while adding warmth and texture to interiors and it looks great in every room.

In the shower room, our Marlborough Terracotta Brick is paired with our Maroc Porcelain tiles in Khaki for the generously sized walk-in shower area. The earthy tones of the tiles work beautifully with the painted wood panelled walls to create a rustic look full of farmhouse chic.

The powder room with its mix of Maroc Porcelain Bianco and Maroc Porcelain Beige tiles laid in a chequerboard pattern is similarly styled, with a large walk-in tiled shower area, classic pedestal basin and warm peach tones to enhance the character of this small yet stunning space.

For the main bathroom of this charming country farmhouse, Gem created a cohesive look by using our Maroc Porcelain Bianco and Maroc Porcelain Khaki tiles to create striped skirting as a border around the room with a tiled step-in shower area, which is double-width to create a symmetrical look facing the stunning roll-top tub.
