Lacock Limestone Heritage Finish

One of the defining features of Lacock Abbey, in Wiltshire, has to be its head-to-toe, honey-hued stone covering the building’s facade, interior walls and flagstone floors. Our Lacock collection has been designed in homage to the time-worn limestone flooring that can be found in the cloisters.

Once home to William Henry Fox Talbot, inventor of the photographic negative, 13th-century Lacock Abbey is a quirky Wiltshire country house with monastic roots and its own woodland grounds. A plethora of different architectural styles including Tudor, Gothic and Victorian, the Abbey is firmly rooted in its medieval past with a Grade I listing and beautifully preserved cloisters and gardens. It is the flooring within those cloisters that has inspired our Lacock collection of random sized flagstones in a choice of two limestone finishes. Choose from the Heritage finish, perfect for creating an aged look within a classic kitchen, or the Natural finish for a velvety clean feel.
