This project involved the owners opening up a space in the existing cottage to provide a large kitchen diner with the original beams in the vaulted ceiling exposed. The soft colours chosen for the kitchen were Farrow & Ball’s Stony Ground (211) on the cabinetry & mantle plus Card Room Green (79) on the island, so they needed an equally soft pallet in the stone flooring.
Ca' Pietra's Pimlico Weathered limestone was the perfect choice and its delicate hues and soft texture give the room character and warmth.
