There are spaces that simply feel right the moment you step inside them. Our Hartley Wintney showroom, freshly refreshed and reopened at Primrose House, is one of them.
The transformation has been a considered one. The walls have been repainted throughout using COAT Paints, with shades including Old Street, Cheap Soufflé and Mrs Bouquet chosen to bring warmth and character to each corner of the space. New wall boards sit at the front of the showroom and a full refresh of samples and labelling means that every surface tells its story clearly. Throughout, Ca' Pietra worktops have been paired with new cabinetry to illustrate the range of possibilities available, from Taj Mahal quartzite finished with a double bullnose edge to Medici Viola Marble with an Ogee edge and matching decorative upstands.
The lighting, designed by Fritz Fryer, casts everything in exactly the right light. It is the kind of detail that you might not notice consciously but would certainly feel the absence of.
The most exciting development, however, is the arrival of Lewis Alderson Kitchens. One of the country's most respected bespoke kitchen studios, Lewis Alderson has taken up residency in the rear of the showroom after nearly a decade operating nearby in the village. It is a partnership that feels entirely natural. Their kitchens are defined by the same attention to material and craftsmanship that runs through everything we do, and having their collection alongside our stone and tile range means that clients can now see the full picture of a considered interior in one place.
A dedicated design area at the rear of the showroom offers a quieter setting for the kind of detailed conversations that the later stages of a project require. An Everhot range cooker on display adds to the sense of a kitchen environment fully realised, and the whole space is designed to make those final, important decisions feel a little less daunting and a great deal more inspiring.
We would love for you to come and see it for yourself.
The showroom is open Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, at Primrose House, London Road, Hartley Wintney, Hook, RG27 8RJ.
