Divine Savages at Home

Founders of Divine Savages, Jamie Watkins and Tom Kennedy, invited us into their beautiful Regency-style house in Bath — a home already brimming with their distinctive Divine Savages style.

“We fell in love with the house immediately,” they shared. “It’s a period home built in the Regency style, but we wanted to put our Divine Savages stamp on it.”

Rather than rushing into the redesign, Tom and Jamie have taken a considered approach.  “We’re designing for the house,” they explained. “We’re in that fortunate, lucky position to be able to do that—so we’re taking our time, getting a feel for the space, and then we’re going to Divine Savage it up.”

One of their favourite spots in the dining room is this area, affectionately known as "the Nook." Inspired by the idea of an indoor courtyard, they chose Marlborough Terracotta Diamond tiles that bring warmth and texture to the space, the perfect spot for coffee or breakfast in the morning.

Outdoors in the garden, Jamie and Tom wanted to create a Mediterranean-style feel. To complement the soft tones of Bath stone, they chose Castilan Limestone Parquet. It gives the garden a relaxed and inviting sun-soaked feel perfect for entertaining.
