Ca' Pietra x BALI at RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2026
We're pleased to share that our Reform tiles will be laid as the garden floor of The Hive: A BALI Collaboration at this year's RHS Chelsea Flower Show. It's a genuinely collaborative project, designed by Matt Evans of The Garden Room Living & Landscape Studio and brought to life by Frosts Landscapes, with a cast of BALI members and suppliers behind it.
The brief was to design something that could feel at home anywhere. A private garden, a roof terrace, a public square. Five metres by four, climate-resilient, built to last. What BALI is really doing with The Hive is making the case for its industry: showing what happens when landscape designers, contractors and suppliers pool their skills properly.
We were particularly pleased to hear how the garden came together, because the design started with the floor. The hexagonal geometry of our Reform tiles, paired with the modular shape of the Furnitubes Hive seating system, sparked the whole concept. It's not often a paving tile gets to set the tone for a Chelsea stand, and it's a lovely reminder that hard landscaping, specified well, does far more than sit quietly underfoot.
For The Hive we've supplied Reform in the Tumbled Cotto colourway, made up as a special order in hexagonal format. Reform is our composite stone range, manufactured from recycled stone materials in a carbon-neutral factory, which made it a natural fit for a garden built around climate resilience. The tumbled finish gives it a warm, tactile character that settles easily into both traditional and contemporary schemes, and an R12 slip rating keeps it safe in all weathers.
As Matt Evans put it: "Everything you see has been chosen because it works hard for the landscape, not just because it looks good."
