Looking out across open fields, this light-filled indoor pool is as much about craftsmanship as it is about creating a sanctuary at home. The space, while modest in size, is layered with bespoke details that transform it into something quietly extraordinary.

At its heart lies Buscot Etched Limestone, a stone chosen for its soft, neutral tone and natural texture. Its surface catches the light from the glazed wall of windows and the overhead skylights, grounding the scheme with warmth and subtle character. The stone wraps seamlessly through the space, forming steps, cladding, copings and surrounds, each piece templated and cut to fit with absolute precision. The pillowed bullnose detailing around the pool gives the impression of softness, while the stringers and made-to-measure steps speak to the high level of craftsmanship that defines this project.

What truly sets this pool apart, however, is the element of theatre. A section of glass at the pool’s base looks directly into the dining room below, allowing swimmers and diners alike to experience the space in a new and surprising way. It’s a detail that transforms the pool from a private retreat into a feature that sparks conversation, blurring the line between leisure and living.
