For WOW!house 2026, we are delighted to have worked with Studio Enass on a room unlike anything else in the house. The Garden Folly Room introduces a new kind of space to WOW!house: an immersive, jewel-box interior shaped by colour, texture and storytelling.
About the Room
Inspired by the quiet escapism of tropical retreats and North African hotels, The Garden Folly Room is a study in atmosphere. Velvet seating, mirrored ceilings and textured leather sit alongside decorative flooring in saturated greens and reds, layered together to create something that feels at once sensual, theatrical and inviting.
It is a room that asks you to slow down. Conceived as an intimate retreat for conversation, connection and quiet moments of escapism, the space reimagines the traditional garden room as something far more immersive. Lush, cinematic, and entirely transportive.
The vision belongs to Enass Mahmoud, whose work centres on soulful interiors shaped by heritage and emotion. Studio Enass has built a quiet reputation for designing spaces that feel personal rather than performative, and The Garden Folly Room is a confident expression of that philosophy at full volume.
About Studio Enass
Founded by Enass Mahmoud, Studio Enass is a London-based interior design practice known for spaces that feel layered, intentional and rooted in story. Their work draws on heritage, craftsmanship and the emotional power of materials to create interiors that resonate beyond the visual. The Garden Folly Room is their first room at WOW!house.
The Ca' Pietra Materials
Five of our materials feature in the room, each chosen to support the atmosphere Enass has created.
Marlborough Porcelain Parquet in Forest Green Gloss runs across the floor. A deep, lustrous green that catches the light beautifully and sets the tone for the rest of the palette.
Victorian Style Wall Ceramic in Carnation Border Rose brings a quietly classical detail into the scheme, held softly within a more theatrical setting.
From our STUDIO collection, Jamboree Ceramic in Raspberry Beading introduces the room's first note of red into the wall detail, while STUDIO Minaret Green Dot Ceramic carries the green palette up from the floor and into the seating borders.
And on the built-in tabletops, Maroc in Bordeaux brings the room's deepest, richest red to its most touchable surface.
Together they form a palette that is rich without being heavy, theatrical without being loud. Exactly the balance the room asks for.
